Sunday Photos, 3/8/26 – Through the Windshield

These were all taken Friday, 3/6

These last two were taken at Paul’s Slide. Highway One is always moving, and Paul’s Slide is notorious for moving — again more than we would like. But there is another place that no one was working on that was quite interesting between Hurricane Point and Little Sur River. How does one stop a mountain from moving?

It was delightful to be able to drive the length of Highway One from Carmel to Gorda.

  • Thanks for a lovely 2 minutes gazing and remembering while watching the snow finally melt in Jersey. I must admit, though, that the title, "Through the windshield," jolted me until I got the meaning!
