To all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our county, and an apology for what we have become. It is only temporary. We haven’t’ forgotten who we are. We honor you this day.

I have never commented here, but I've been a subscriber for several years. I must tell you, I love who you are, what you are doing and I hope that we will be blessed with your blog & spirit for many more years. I am in Carmel Valley Village and your information has enhanced/blessed my life. It seems so wrong to say "happy" Memorial Day. I've lost my mother and one of my best friends on this day. They weren't military, but I feel "Memorial Day" can encompass all the non-military loved ones too. Thank you for blessing all our lives Kate.
