• So. So heartbreaking 💔. I send prayers to everyone who lives there near both fires. As a kid, I used to spend a lot of time on Plaskett ridge visiting Cy and Margaret and kids.

• Yep, that's a whole lotta what it looks like on our road from the Timber Fire...
  Getting ready to hunker down during the winter rains.

• I understand how you all feel.
  Been over 5 years since “Dolan” fire and the wind event and intentional “ Big Box” back fire that day that surrounded us behind Cone peak.
  Burned everything that could burn.
  Killed heaps of wildlife.
  Then the rains came and the healing began.
  She will come back to life !
  Hang in there .

• Thanks so much for these..I particularly like the sign with the missing leg. So much green will return. Much love.

• The toyon have done very well after the Carmel Fire. And most of the oaks survived, even 100% burnt ones. 6 years in, and the brush is getting thick again.

• Two earths, one with humans and one without, there can be only one.

• Timothy, it means a lot to hear from someone else who has been through it and watched the landscape change with the changing seasons. Thanks for your point of view.
