To think of you (and I do) opening your door and stepping into this splendor, even non-cognicent pre-coffee, well, what a life you lead. For so many years in downtown Brooklyn which also has its many very different charms I'd talk myself out of the virtue of waking up in some mythic paradise. I wish it had not taken me so long to figure out that matters. It matters. I now get to see some version of that every day.

  Yes, we are blessed. I will always treasure my Manhattan summer, but for waking up to scenes like these? I will always be grateful my life brought me here.
