Allow the son in me to come out - Pacific Coast Trail is an entirely different trail then the one I'm hiking. Currently I'm hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. Love you Mom.

How cool is that? What a perfectly lovely greeting from a first-born. Agree with HolyCowGirl, looks like you did a great job there. I can never seem to keep the two trails straight in my head, though I think it's the Coast Trail that runs through my neighborhood. Not entirely sure where the Crest goes. So great to see the young 'uns out there getting into the natural world.

Jeannie, last I heard he was in Bishop, but that was days ago! He has his anticipated schedule up on his blog at pct15.wordpress.com he said he was pretty much on schedule.
