Vegetation Fire near FHL

2 pm – One scanner listener reports a fire on Jolon Rd. But didn’t catch the cross street. Suspect it is this one – SLOFire reports:

“CAL FIRE/San Luis Obispo sending aircraft and two engines to assist with a reported vegetation fire near Fort Hunter Liggett within Monterey County.”

  2. Saw big two engine CDF plane flying south, about 1:30 this afternoon, out of Hollister.

  3. The FHL fire brought in a tanker and spotter from Paso. The ones out of Holister may have been sent to Goleta. The Holiday Fire down there started late yesterday and took out 20 houses last night…I haven’t checked on it lately.
