These photos were sent to me by Dave Nelson. He didn’t indicate if it was north or south of the main gate, but looks like just south. Hailey Knight, whose photos are also below, confirms, just south of the Main Gate.

There are some big rocks in this slide. Since larger than a large SUV. It is indeed JSO Esalen main gate. Papich was just getting there to assess it when we were leaving.
Wow. When will these end?
I would not recommend standing under those big hangers along the top edge to take a picture. They could pop any moment. Please stay safe, neighbors!
