Does anyone know how this Started ?
I would encourage enthusiastically much ore attention to instructing & defining what constitutes safe and considerate back country behavior. In that the incarceration process in the US fails entirely at all levels, I’d like to return to a vigilante approach. Tar & feathered then trolled astern if the next boat out of the harbor. These hundreds of fires all in days of one another highly stinks of A-holes.
I was not caused by a hiker, backpacker, tourist, or resident.
I would remind everyone that the cause of the fire is under investigation. No one can say what did or did not cause it, unless they witnessed it.
Regarding what caused the upper canyon blaze, the point is, if its concluded to have been intentional, I want to see immediate responses outside the judicial level. Exportation, brief incarceration, doesn’t work. A huge consequence might more effectively detour a mean careless act of stupidity.
