These two were found on Highway One near the Big Sur Station. Hillary Thurkow Evan took them up to their place on Pfeiffer Ridge. Contact me at kwnovoa@mac.com for Hillary’s phone number. They have Monterey tags, but no name tags. The owners contacted Hillary the sane day they were found and dogs and owners have been reunited.
When I lived up Palo Colorado, I can’t tell you how many dogs and cats were dumped 🙁
Is there Next Door in your area there? Might be a good place to post as well.
Maybe they should put a picture and sign at the station and the park in case the owners come looking
Two pals together were lucky to get found by good folks.
Has anyone checked to see if they’re chipped? Any vet should be able to scan for a microchip.

God send for the animals that have been abandoned or lost/separated from their owners.

This notice was a bit confusing— were they returned to their owners? Title implies returned to owners but the description below sounded like they were left and a Good Samaritan is caring for them? Thank you!
