Highway Highlights – November 27, 2025

Crews are working today, through the holiday, and into the weekend to keep repairs moving at Regent’s Slide!

Despite losing 12 production days to rain and fog earlier this month, excavation is now fully back underway. Progress down the slope has allowed two conventional excavators to join the four spider excavators already on site. Cable-net drapery installation also continues as crews work steadily toward reopening Highway 1.

i am thankful for all my family and friends who enrich my life and being. I am thankful for Big Sur who has taken care of me for 40 years. I am thankful for the stories and love of community I have felt no where else. I feel blessed this Thanksgiving, and still bask in the glow of my daughter’s visit.
