Reminder, Daytime closure in Torre Canyon Area tomorrow

I drove through there today and it is a bit scary. Rocks are falling in the northbound lane (it is closed) while 5 or 6 CT spotters are watching it and calling into a radio to halt traffic if they feel it is getting ready to let lose with more rocks. It is a very long closure and along side the north bound lane are rolls and rolls of the metal drapery CT likes to install to keep the hills in place.

  1. Guess I’ll be taking the 101 down for the Thursday SL:O Framers Market…maybe Highway One will be safer on the way back up… goblins and rocks notwithstanding.
