It’s Snowing!

5:30 pm update – It snowed several times today, but none of it stuck, so no photos. I’ll bet Cone Peak is beautiful, if I could see it. I also had slush up here, and last I checked, only about 1/2 an inch in the rain gauge. The wind has been gusting into the 30 mph plus range most of the day, and continues tonight.

Now, under the covers with four dogs to watch a DVD. No TV reception. I was lucky yesterday to have reception all evening, and that the Grammy’s were on the only station I get! S

And all I’m doing today is trying to stay warm! My heating systems are not functioning well, but I’m working on it!

  1. stay warm Big Sur Kate, get those dogs to lay on top of you and around here, snow, wow!

  2. 4-dog Big Sur Kate day, put them pups to work! It’s been so mild north (Carmel Valley), rainy but gentle, coming a little stronger now, but staying warm. All the plants are in bud or bloom including cherry trees and even the Magnolia. Fabulous earthy air smells. I had the feeling February was going to be wet, and AT&T is almost always the magician for it. Early or late for snow, but apparently laying in wait. God bless the roads of Big Sur, may they stay clear and strong as Kate.

  3. You sure are one resourceful woman Kate, thank God for the doggies. It is raining, a nice rain up in the Big Sur Valley, yea, and the temps have just dropped a bit where I noticed I just got a good chill. Stay warm and dry, snow sounds nice in a heated house, sending you warm and loving energy.
