Fire spotting, early

Drove by the strangest sight, so turned around for photos. When I got in cell phone range, I reported it. Just as I was pulling into River Inn for Mother’s Day music on the river, I saw the CHP going south with lights.

I can’t tell what they were burning, but it ain’t wood. Looked like a backpack, luggage, or some weird thing. Very odd. They didn’t even look up from the fire when I pulled in, either.

  1. Good girl.
I figure if people don’t notice your presence, or act as if they don’t, they’r either doing nothing or they know there’ll be no witnesses.
We have a lot to sort through these days to keep from exploding.

  2. LOL, Sterling. Oh, yes, as with everywhere on the planet, things have changed.

  3. Yup, and idiots can be found even in paradise. I wonder if they got arrested? I have photos of the after. One weed is burnt, but that is all. Tape marks both sides, too.

  4. Some tourists just beg to be roasted, Sterling (fancy meeting you here)… but it’s very curious, and will be interesting to find what’s behind (or left) of that fire.
