Remember the Fallen

Few years ago, I traveled to DC. While there, I went to visit the Wall. I was in the Army in 1967-1968. This wall is for all those who died in that misbegotten war. When I saw this on FB, I was so moved, I needed to share this image. Bravo to the photographer!

  1. The Vietnam Memorial is an incredible work – I’ve been moved to tears each time I’ve visited.

  2. Thank you, Kate for so many things, for all you are. And especially today, thank you for your service to America.
No, I won’t forget you and all the other soldiers, the medics, the families…they also serve who stay and wait.
My huge Brooklyn flag is lofting high above the Farm Center, caught by breezes and faded by sun and on Memorial Day the symbol of a grateful nation.

  3. Great picture…I’ve visited the Wall a few times and it always makes me cry for all the lost lives and those that are changed forever because of the experience of that war….
