2:30 – Fire now contained.
2:00 – it is at the East entrance, near the parking lot. Cal Fire reports it was about 5 acres when they arrived. It is now 15 acres but air attack has been called off because the 100 ff are making good progress.
Noon – a fire broke out near the entrance to Pinnacles National Park around an hour ago. Cal Fire crews are on scene. I will post updates re acreage, etc. as I determine them and my internet connection allows.
Saw the CDF planes leaving Hollister for the South about 11:00 AM. There have been multiple small bush fires (Morgan Hill, Pacheco Pass) in the area..15 mph and gusty winds continue.
