At 5:30 am, Cal Trans sent out notice of yet another slide at Mud Creek today, Thursday, 5/4/17. It is closed in both directions, again, Additionally, there is fog on the coast making work difficult. An update will be sent out this afternoon.

wonder when will they open beaches at Big Sur Andrew Molera and Pfeiffer Beach and Pfeiffer State Park need to reserve if it opens hope this open soon. :)….
Pfeiffer Beach will not probably open until the bridge is finished, as that is the staging area. As for Pfeiffer SP, they issued a statement recently for either June 1st or July 1st, not sure. Calling the SP is always an option, you know.,
