  1. Thanksgiving already? No wonder the increase in traffic. Better get prepared for hunkering down for the weekend. Happy Thanksgiving to you Kate!

  2. Yes, I did my prep for hunkering yesterday. I am ready to enjoy the rain – and a big feast for me and Rock Knocker, and son, and one other. Hope you and Charlie are doing okay. You are in my thoughts.

  8. Kate,

Next Week’s rain is looking like a keeper and the Pacific’s jet stream will be humming- Next 12 days may give the scenic roadways a battle to stay open.. We will see.

Happy Thanksgiving to all and your wizards who keep your blog running smoothly! Rest up and enjoy the festivities with one’s close, good night.

  9. Thank you, Andrew. My wizards? You mean my readers who feed me info? Otherwise, my wizards are Mother Nature and Big Sur, oh, and one mysterious anonymous map maker. May your Thanksgiving be filled with thanks and reasons therefore.
