Let us put the disaster that was 2020 behind us, while keeping its lessons in our hearts. And let’s surprise ourselves with how gentle and kind and compassionate we can be as a people and as a nation. And if we don’t heal this planet and stop our destruction, we will face more and more of these crazy pandemics.
And finally, a beautiful quote from President Obama: “After a year that has tested us in unimaginable ways, we’ve seen how people from all walks of life have stepped up to create change to make things better. Here’s to ringing in 2021 with optimism for what’s to come and a belief that our best days are still ahead. Happy New Year!”
Ooops 2021…
Mother nature is still the same magnificent, awesome and caring.
This whole COVID thingy was a great lesson, and wake up call!
The real problem is not a virus but our depleted immune system, due to our unhealthy lifestyle and faulty thinking.
Too much stress, poisoned food, and some fun-da-mental core misunderstandings.
How did you personally encounter COVID in 2020, if you take away what other people told you?
How does media, politics and commerce affect you when there is no fear on your side?
Business is everywhere! We get so easily intimidated.
What do you really want?
Suggested answer:
Peace of mind in daily living, independent of circumstances.
We need an inner benchmark to detect when we get lost in the world.

I think the real problem is climate change and overpopulation. I read an interesting article yesterday about the intersection of disease and climate change. When the viruses are released from the melting permafrost, we may see a whole new level of diseases.
With the new year may we get back to the basics and love and help each other!
Yes indeed, friends! The events that come, are intended to ‘take us,’ exactly to that place of Right thinking! And what I call, Intelligence with Kindness!
“ Human use, population and technology have reached that certain stage where mother earth no longer excepts our presence with silence.” -Dalai Lama
Nice thoughts… hopeful. Seems things get out of balance and need to be corrected. The population is a problem we face as much as this or other viruses. One approach to a solution is striving to reduce the number of births, or there’s always war to cut down numbers and if all else fails we get pandemics or starvation… or all of the above. Science hasn’t yet learned to fix greed or stupidity. Hopefully we’ll still have a planet when sanity takes over.
