As I walk I see commercial venues irrigating plants daily with water so ample it runs-off into the roadway. These plants are drought resistant and do not need daily water. Irrigation leaks too are a huge source of water waste. Broken emitters spurt water into the air and onto the road in the early morning hours when no one is yet awake to see the leaks. There are so many ways we can help, but often love and will are lacking and everyone pays the price. Very sad indeed these times are.
