Because the reason given was the lack of resources, and since I am a fire reporter for WatchDuty.org and stay aware of current fires state wide, I don’t see this reason changing until after winter rains. Hopefully, they will schedule it earlier next year.

Hopefully they paid some attention to the letter. What’s the saying, the squeaky wheel gets the grease!!!

Good for you, Kate. Thanks for looking out for us, and being our advocate!
No exact location is given. I would prefer metes and bounds coordinates. No answer from the PR lady so far. I will be disappointed but not surprised if I don’t. I avoid squawking sessions. They don’t listen. Put it all on paper. Eschew name-calling and stay calm. Take my advice. Don’t take my advice.
Way to go Kate. Just learned of the postponement on KSBW news. Your blog was mentioned. Thanks to you and Wangoe for speaking out!
NIce! A KSBW bump.
Thank you State Parks and Cal Fire!
Thanks, Connie. Yeah, it worked.
This is NOT the time of year to be doing any prescribed burns … in any year. But, in this drought? Absolutely foolhardy and ill-advised. Good work, Kate.
