HIGHWAY 1 REPAIRS SET FOR SATURDAY TO RESULT IN DELAYS
MONTEREY COUNTY – Emergency repairs to a section of failed pavement on Highway 1 will take place on Saturday April 15.
Travelers will encounter one-way traffic control with half hour delays from 7 am to 5 pm on Saturday April 15, from just north of Coast Ridge Road at Post Mile 44.59, to south of the Big Sur Bakery at PM 45.23.
Crews will cold plane and repave both directions of travel.
Despite this emergency repair work, Highway 1 remains open with full access to all coastal businesses for 50 miles from Monterey to the Big Creek Vista area.
