HIGHWAY 1/ROCKY CREEK VIADUCT PROJECT CONTINUES WITH DAYTIME ROADWORK AND INTERMITTENT OVERNIGHT CLOSURES

SPECIAL ADVANCE NOTIFICATION: THERE WILL BE FOUR, FULL OVERNIGHT CLOSURES, FROM 11 PM TO 7 AM, STARTING MONDAY, OCT. 14 THROUGH THURSDAY, OCT. 17 (OPENING FRIDAY MORNING) TO REMOVE THE VIADUCT FALSEWORK.

Daytime roadwork on Highway 1 at Rocky Creek continues next week from 7 am to 5 pm Monday, Oct. 7 through Friday, Oct. 11, with 10-minute delays as needed.

NOTE: There will be NO OVERNIGHT CLOSURES OR NIGHT ROADWORK next week (Sunday, Oct. 6 through Thursday, Oct. 10).

Daytime work being performed next week consists of delivery of materials and paving the following week.

NOTE: Through traffic has been shifted to the newly constructed southbound half of the viaduct while work continues on the northbound half.

We have a great Health Fair planned this year. We are going to have more booths than ever before. Besides our usual booths such as free flu shots we have 9 new ones including information on the new insurance for Obamacare, hearing test, and back care. Alphabetically listed below are all the booths. We will also have raffle prizes for attendees who visit multiple booths. Please bring your old eyeglasses because Lions Club is collecting then for people in need. Remember, to give blood you must have an ID such as a driver’s license, passport, or Mexican Matricula.
