*NEW INFORMATION*— State Route 1 continues to be closed between Ragged Pt. (SLO 72.87)
and Pfeiffer Cyn Bridge(PM 45.5).

Point (SLO PM 72.87) or south from Carmel to Pfeiffer Cyn. Bridge (PM

*LOCALS MAY TRAVEL DURING DAYTIME HOURS ONLY BETWEEN RAGGED PT. AND LIMEKILN (PM 21.3), BUT NOT LIKELY HAVE ACCESS TOMORROW, DUE TO EXPECTED STORM.

DUE TO SAFETY PRECAUTIONS, PFEIFFER CANYON BRIDGE WILL REMAIN FULLY CLOSED, INCLUDING TO PEDESTRIAN AND EMERGENCY SERVICES. THE NEXT BRIDGE INSPECTION WILL BE MADE ON TUESDAY, FEB. 21 AFTER THE RAIN, BUT IT IS NOT LIKELY THE BRIDGE WILL RE-OPEN.

*BUSINESSES REMAIN OPEN* [I would add SOME businesses, particularly those north of the bridge are open. Nepenthe is closed, Post Ranch is closed, the taphouse is trying to stay open for the locals; Treebones is closed, Plaskett Campground, Kirk Creek Campground, etc. are all closed on the South Coast, and these are just the ones I have heard about. I am sure there are more.]
