We finally got a photo of the abandoned little dog near JP Burns. It is scared to death, and several of you have tried to coax it to come. Rachael Fann has been leaving food out for it and she is the one who was able to get this photo.

aaaw – hope the feral cat trapper can help – she was looking for a local…Rachael maybe? Keep doing what you are doing..slowly… .hopefully get her trust before…
Sad… hard to put a ‘like’ to this.
Looks like a Pomeranian. A box with pillows might help with warmth. My mom had the same experience with a Pom in Seattle that was terrified. Neighbors left all kinds of sleeping gear & food thru the winter /snow. She finally flew thru mom’s front door July 4th and we had her for 10 yrs. Missy was the best!
Oh, what a little darling. Bless you, Rachael. I hope the little sweetheart will be able to find a forever home very soon.
ASK THE HUMANE SOCIETY FOR A HUMANE TRAP AND PUT FOOD IN IT. IT DOESN’T HARM THE ANIMAL, JUST PREVENTS IT FROM GETTING OUT ONCE IT ENTERS. THEY MIGHT EVEN DO IT FOR YOU AND THEN TAKE HER/HIM TO THE SHELTER TO GET CLAIMED OR ADOPTED WE HOPE!
We have a couple have-a-heart traps at River Inn. They’re large enough for this little guy. If someone wants to come borrow one to put out with some food in it, call me (Suzanne) at the River Inn!
