While it looks significant for SF and northward (up to .3/hour), south of SF, while it will bring some rain, and scattered showers through tomorrow morning, doesn’t look like much of concern, per this morning’s NOAA discussion. Of course, Mother Nature has her ways. More photos this weekend.
10 am – clouds in and out, sunshine and blue skies, intermittently. I don’t see any rain until maybe later. No winds to speak of yet, so the front has not yet arrived.
3:30 pm – finally the rain has arrived, although it is quite light at this point.
7:30 pm – well that “storm” was a dud, at least down here!
The wind has started picking up on the coast near PG. Its clouding over and looks dark. Don’t know if we will get the rain or not, but if we do we can sure use it. Kate stay safe & sound. 🙂
Pen, keep us posted. Once it hits PG, I’ll have an idea when it will hit Big Sur and then here.
From SJ: “Yes the rain started here about 11:45, everything is wet but it is not a torrent.
This area does not get a lot of rain during the typical storm, the wind is gusty, and has been on and off since 07:00 this am.”
Got a fair dollop of rain in Carmel – 1/4 inch. Gale winds from around noon. Then it all stopped about 3pm. Showers likely tonight.
