One of my readers took the original, adjusted highlights, midtones, and shadows in a photo software (he or she didn’t say which one) and came up with this much brighter version, so I’ve replaced the original. The reader said it took all of 30 seconds, so this is something I need to add to my arsenal! This is much better
Oh my! All you needed was something in the picture to show off the enormity of this. Is it a mini mountain or a huge stone, 🙂 ? What a fun discovery!
I really don’t see how this picture could be improved. It’s a great picture. But don’t be COMPLETELY satisfied.

I love this photo. There is a particular beach in one of our National Parks that I have been photographing regularly since 1985. I am still not completely satisfied!
Having said that, you should be proud of this result. It is awe inspiring! Isn’t it incredible how a place never looks the same twice?
