Mud Creek

Here are some progression photos of a slide in this area. They were taken on 3 different days, and while I did not catch the slide itself, one can see the before and after effects.

I would like to apologize for the quality of these last two shots from January 3rd – cracked windshield and lens flare, but they show the left over from the slide and some of the large amount of mud and rocks that had to be moved.

  1. Amazing to see. It’s not like a Hollywood crash and burn, more dramatic because a hillside simply disappears. In the New Year’s eve photo I didn’t see the tractor at first, then the size of it makes the fallen earth so much more huge. Don’t apologize for the pictures. The cracked windshield et al adds to the sense of the on the spot emergency reporting. Nice work. Thanks for being there, Kate.

  2. Wow! That is moving! I haven’t been south for a while now I really see the difference.
