Missing Dog – FOUND 11/18/17

UPDATE: TANK HAS BEEN FOUND.

The spotweiller (Aussie/Rottweiler mix) named Tank went missing about 11 pm Wednesday night from the Bryson/Hesperia area, about 15 miles east of Three Peaks. He could be at the Lakes, in our back country, FHL – he could be anywhere. Please keep an eye out for him.

He is the one standing in front on the left:

One less heartbeat in my house

Bear was not a loud dog, except outside when guarding us. He was a sweet dog. His tail was always wagging. He didn’t scratch to be let in or out, he waited for others to do that, and then tagged along. He was sometimes stubborn about coming in for dinner if he wasn’t finished with his duties.

As my FB and twitter followers know, Bear passed yesterday just before 3 pm. I called him Bear, or Bear Dog. This photo was taken in December of 2016 – the day Gideon died. Bear will always be in my heart, right alongside his papa, Gideon, and his sister, Miranda. It seems so quiet today, even though he was not a loud dog. I think it is the one less heartbeat in my house that makes it so quiet. Run and play free, my beautiful, loving boy.

I first reported on this lost dog 3 days ago, and now…

Susi the missing service dog from Colorado has been found!!

We are happy to report that Susi, who was taken from Colorado in June, has been located. The circumstances surrounding her disappearance and recovery are being investigated.

THANKS TO ALL WHO KEPT AN EYE OUT AND PASSED THE WORD. JANGO HAS BEEN FOUND!

Hello Kate,

It was suggested to me that I contact you regarding a lost dog in the Arroyo Seco area. A very friendly woman that works for the campsites there (whose name I have forgotten at the moment) thought you would be a good source for spreading the word.

Jango has been missing since Sunday afternoon when he was hiking with his owner, Rich. He is a Dutch Shepard and weighs about 110lbs. He is very friendly to people of all ages, other dogs and animals.
If anyone has any information, they can contact myself, Kendra 408) 508-9391 Steve 530) 966-0373 or Brian 408) 505-4445. Rich has been out hiking the area looking for Jango and his cell won’t be as reliable.
His owner, Rich, has already alrerted local authorities and contacted the shelter.

Any help you can give us in getting his picture and info out is greatly appreciated. He is very loved by a lot of extended family.

Thank you so much,
Kendra Walton

Another Gideon Rainbow

This was seen from my bed this morning, out the window. Gideon is sure letting me know he is happy and watching out for me, no longer in pain, and playing while waiting for me. I will miss you until the end of my days, but I am glad you sent me all these rainbows.
