While my shots aren’t even close to the quality of Dan Danbom’s shots, posted earlier this year, I am still always tickled when I get to see them and photograph them. Even us amateurs like to get these shots!

Great shots! You did a nice job capturing this condor in flight.
They are all nice but I really like #2. You are lucky to live in the habitat of these soaring giants.
Whatever the ‘quality’–YOU still get to SEE Condors—and that is soooo very wild. LOL.
Nice shots, and what a wonderful creature. Birds are always demanding subjects!
Great condor shots Kate, that looks like one of our first year condors, possibly a wild hatched chick from last year…can’t read the tags, but the plumage and head color are pretty clear…the dark head color and dark spots in the white triangle patches on the underside of the wing are tell-tale signs of a young condor. Glad to see its not just us condor biologists spotting the big birds cruising around Big Sur.
Beautiful and I’m so jealous!!!! But thanks for sharing!!!
