UPDATE – Neighbor from Alm’s Ridge reported back at 1 am, that it took 4 hours to cut their way through from Ponderosa Campground to Alm’s Ridge (coming the back way up Nasty-Fergusson) due to downed trees. See comment section for reports from Clear Ridge.
From the coast going up, Nasty Fergy is blocked by many fallen trees, per a trustworthy neighbor. I will attempt to call the county and PV Station in the morning. For now, you can’t get there from here, or where ever.
well, from Clear Ridge on solar here….I see no lights on Apple Pie and have heard from my neighbor, just drove in no power anywhere (grid)/
My gate got crushed, limbs everywhere very unsettling but this is life here on the ridge. Hold on !!!
I also heard an unconfirmed rumor from an unreliable friend (is that enough of a disclaimer?) of a downed tree/limb above Ventana. No further details.
That’s a road that doesn’t like adverse weather
Clear Ridge is blocked by a group of fallen trees about 1/4 mile from Brewers Bridge,.
Willow’s open to 4 miles up, but a hand saw or chain saw could come in handy or just Popeye sized muscles!
Power was out in Happy Hill area of Cambria when I left about 9:30 am. It went out around 8:30 am.
Hi Kate, thanks for update on Nacimiento Road. Do you know if it has been cleared yet? Thanks for info. Warmly, Gina
