Photo Contest Voting … finally

I can’t believe it, but I finally got the last 5 photos up, so voting has now begun. You (and your friends) have until Sunday night at 8 pm to vote for your favorite for my new header. I didn’t want to take a chance, so view the photos in the post immediately below this one, and then vote here. More news later today, as I have a number of things to report, while wordpress, the internet goddess, and my computer are being cooperative.

Photo Contest Finalists

FINALLY, the long awaited photo contest final 10. Thank you, all, for your patience, particularly those photographers who entered their work!

I am beginning to think this contest is cursed. I tried all night to get the other 5 uploaded, but no luck. So no voting until I get the the other 5 up, and it looks like, based on the behavior of wordpress, it will have to be in a separate post. I’ll try again tomorrow, and I’ll let you know when voting opens.

Fire at Wildbird

Just speculation about how it started, but originally thought to be a chimney fire, but BSVFB, upon arriving, thought it was more than that. Carmel and Carmel Highlands are on their way to assist BSVFB with this, but I would imagine, traffic will be an issue on this stretch of Highway One. For those of you not familiar with Wildbird, it is Margaret Owing’s old place.

I’m back

The holidays, for me, were full of joy and friendship. It was also, beyond hectic – they were chaotic, in many ways, so sorry I haven’t been around to wish you all a Happy New Year, so a day late, and several dollars short, I wish that 2012 brings you joy, peace and love.

Our weather has been remarkable, a very dry December, and temperatures that are defin

I tried again several times over the holidays to upload the photos for voting for the photo contest, and I am just not having any luck at all! I don’t know what is going on.
