Minutiae…
I noticed that longitude measurements were different between the maps linked here and Google Maps.
I found this on the web: “Google Earth uses WGS84 coordinates, USGS 1998, i think use NAD83 (1998) coodinates.”
Tassajara is at ~121.9 W according to Google, but is at ~121.3 W on the CalFire maps.
